People all over the world are perfectly aware of the fact that smoking adversely affects human’s health. Still, the majority of smokers flippantly treat this. They allow themselves to refer to the thing that the danger won’t touch them and it will blow over. But it is light-headedly. We cannot take into account that trouble won’t come into our houses. But being the director of your life and destiny you are capable to channel it and live without troubles. By our hands we can destroy and create our life.

Being thoughtless persons towards health, we do not think about the content of that burning item that you smoke daily. Probably many of you haven’t even read the data indicated on the cigarette pack. So what can be said about the deeper interest towards smoking product content? Just few persons gave a tumble to it.

An environmental health scientist of the University of Maryland, Amy Sapkota made up her mind to conduct a research referring to the genuine cigarette content and to reveal the whole world what does a simple cigarette comprise besides that substances indicated on the package.

The results of the health scientist showed that the tobacco contains viable germs, including those responsible for many human illnesses. Among such viable bacteria the researchers have found the following: clostridium, a bacterium which causes food poisoning and pneumonias; campylobacter, which leads to Guillain-Barre Syndrome; corynebacterium and a number of Staphylococcus species which associate with serious infection diseases. There were also discovered bacteria which cause the infections of respiratory tracts, lungs, blood, and even anthrax.

”If these germs are alive, something I haven’t yet confirmed, just handling cigarettes or putting an unlit one to the mouth could be enough to cause an infection,”- stated Sapkota. “Unfortunately, nobody take cigarettes as a source of those infections,”- added the scientist.

But the findings, received by her scientific group, show the reverse.

Together with scientific researchers of Maryland University, Sapkota took on trial the genetic material from any and every bacterium in a cigarette's tobacco. Observing all the sterile conditions, the researchers opened up cigarettes and then carried out a series of tests on the leafy bits.

In widely known tobacco brands such as Camel, Lucky Strike, Marlboro Red they discovered the whole spectrum of famous bacteria, starting with those which are found in soil up to dangerous for human’s organism ones. Still, it is just preliminary information. Amy Sapkota is not intended to satisfy with what has already been discovered. The health scholar desires to find out which types of tobacco are most exposed to host viable germs, and whether those bacteria are transmitted into the smoker’s body, either during smoking process or by the insertion of unburned tobacco articles into the mouth.

However, there are people who cannot agree with Sapkota arguments as they are convinced that as tobacco burns, it kills any germs. Amy cannot assent to this belief and she is about to enunciate her truth.
